From Ausiello : "A One Tree Hill rep is now confirming what I first hinted at in Ask Ausiello: The bitch is back!

Danneel Harris has closed a deal to reprise her role as pot-stirrer Rachel Gatina in at least seven episodes next season, beginning with eppy 7.02.

Harris made her Tree Hill debut as Brooke's high school nemesis in season 3 but wasn't made a series regular until season 4. She was written out in season 5 after only a handful of episodes, an apparent victim of the show's four-year flash forward. 

In other Tree Hill news, the last of next season's new contract roles has gone to Nuevo 90210 grad Jana Kramer. She'll play Alexis, a model who becomes the new face of Brooke's clothing line. As previously reported, Lipstick Jungle's Robert Buckley and relative newcomer Shantel VanSanten are also joining the cast as Nathan's sports agent and Haley's sister respectively."

From tvguide : "Robert Buckley, who famously played Kim Raver's Lipstick Jungle boy toy and subsequently did a turn on Privileged, will resurface this fall on the CW's One Tree Hill.

Buckley will play Clayton, the sports agent who takes on NBA-bound Nathan as a client and friend, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Brian Austin Green was until recently eyed for this series regular role, but ultimately a deal could not be worked out.

Buckley's Tree Hill gig stems from a holding deal he had with Privileged producer Warner Bros. TV.

One Tree Hill is adding three new characters for Season 7, as the show moves on without longtime leads Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray. The two characters remaining to be cast are Haley's sister, Quinn, and a supermodel who goes to work for Brooke."

Even better ! Since BAG won't be on OTH or on The Body Politic, we might have a chance of seeing him on 90210 !!!

Although, I'm not so sure since the main producer said she didn't want any stunt casting and didn't want to rely as much on the original actors !! But still, let's hope ! We need David back !!! And where the hell is brandon ??

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Brian Austin Green is in advanced talks to join the cast next season as a series regular. "They're ironing out a few issues," notes a Tree Hill insider, "but it's pretty much a done deal."

Who is Green playing and what does it mean for Nathan (James Laferty)?

The 90120 Sarah Connor Chronicles star would play Nathan's Jerry Maguire-esque sports agent, Clayton. 

As you know, Green had a starring role in The CW pilot Body Politic. When that show failed to snag a spot on the fall schedule, network brass approached him with the Tree Hill gig.

Clayton is one of three new characters OTH will be introducing in its seventh season. Still to be cast are the roles of Haley's older sister and a model-actress Brooke hires to be the new face of her clothing line."

Good news but why the hell would he go to OTH rather than 90210 ?? I guess he worked out a better deal with them : more money, more screen time... Plus the show, even if it's not that popular, is still well established with a solid fan base and the charaters are older than on 90210.
That being said, the 2 shows (OTH and 90210) being on the same network, it will be much easier to work out a deal for him to come say hi to Kelly and Donna and to his baby girl and his younger sister Erin/Silver ! Let's hope !!!
