Calista Flockhart, Rachel Griffiths, Emily Van Camp, Sarah Jane Morris, Brothers and Sisters

From Kristin : "Finally, some happy tears to be shed on ABC's Brothers & Sisters.

Sources tell me that along with a wedding, an extended hot French romance ( Gilles Marini, anyone?) and a homecoming for Balthazar Getty and his so-much-better half Sarah Jane Morris, a huge pregnancy surprise is in the works.

So who is the mama to be?

I can rule out one Walker for you: It's not Sally Field. I know... Now you're really thrown!

And though Kevin and Scotty will move forward with their surrogacy plans, this has nothing to do with that.

More clues: Gilles Marini's 12-pack abs were just awarded an extra four episodes, slated to begin in January.

So could Sara ( Rachel Griffiths) have a hot, half-French bun in the oven? (An adorable mini croissant, if you will?)

Or maybe Kitty will have a miracle baby? Julia a baby by another daddy? Or perhaps Justin and Rebecca's recently seen "study break" was more productive then they thought?"

From Kristin : "Gilles Marini brings major cuteness to this Sunday's ep of Brothers & Sisters when Sarah tells Kitty the story of her and Luc's French-countryside courtship. (We've seen the ep, and the guy is just ridiculously hot.) They even change the credits to the French title of the show in Marini's honor: Frères & Sœurs!

He's contracted for five episodes, but you gotta read this quote he just gave us at the Hollywood Style Awards. It sorta sounds like Gilles spills the beans that he's getting hitched to Sarah (or that he knocked her up or something), and that he'll be sticking around. but then he backs off and tries to vague it up: "Last Friday, we shot our last scene. Very good news to come, which means much more for me. So you know that means I must have done a good job. I might stay around, or I might leave and come back. I don't know. You guys have to watch. I saw the first episode of the four I did, and I was myself like, 'This is good. This is really good.' The table...the editing, the directing, the writing...it's so, like, high class." The one constant thing in that quote? The ego! Gotta love it. And seriously, with abs like those how can you not love you some you?"

He IS hot !! For those of you wondering where you might have seen him before, he played Dante in Sex and the City: The Movie in which he did a full frontal scene. He has been seen on Ugly Betty, Dirty Sexy Money, Criminal Minds, Windfall, as well as several daytime dramas, including The Bold and the Beautiful and Passions. And he was on Dancing with the Stars.

They're making a big deal out of this 2 hours special but none of the storylines interest me right now ! Actually, from episode 3x15, the only parts that I thought were interesting were the ones with Rebecca and her dad and with Nora and Ryan !!
We know Tommy (or rather Balthazar Getty) is leaving so they probably want us to assume that he's the one dying but it's probably Trish or the baby.

Luke Grimes, Brothers & Sisters

From tvguide : "Brothers & Sisters' Walker family is expansive, with the siblings, their significant others and more bringing drama, comedy and intrigue to the fore each week. On Sunday (ABC, 10 pm/ET), a new Walker sibling will add a twist to the mix, arriving after his existence was discovered earlier this season. A product of an affair, Luke Grimes' (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) edgy Ryan Lafferty lost his mother, and now faces fresh loss when he learns the truth about his past. TVGuide.com sat down with Grimes to find out what's behind the new sib's brooding demeanor, how the family reacts to his arrival and what he thinks of fans' mixed reactions to his casting.

TVGuide.com: Can you tell us about your character, Ryan Lafferty?
Luke Grimes: He goes to the Berklee School of Music. He lived a pretty happy life up until a certain point when his mother died. And then he was very shocked to find out that the father who raised him is not his real father ... and his real, biological father's dead. So he finds out at a late age that he's an orphan. The rug's been pulled out from under him. He's a complicated guy.

TVGuide.com: How is Ryan going to be introduced?
Grimes: With a phone call. He's just gotten to the point where he can't do it on his own anymore, so he reaches out to Nora [Sally Field, the Walkers' widowed matriarch].

TVGuide.com: What will integrating into the Walker family be like? How will the siblings respond?
Grimes: I don't know yet -- it's all yet to be written.  I'm excited to see what happens next... who he likes, who he doesn't like.

TVGuide.com: There are a lot of theories circulating about your character, including that he used to be a drug dealer. Are we going to learn more about that?
Grimes: I'm not sure if it's going to be brought up. But I know that ... [Ryan] did have a problem with drugs, and I'm sure that that's due to having his mother died.

TVGuide.com: Based on what you've shot so far, what's the dynamic like between Ryan and Nora?
Grimes: There seems to be almost a motherly energy coming from Nora. I don't know if that's something that they're planning on playing up, but I feel like that's the way it's going. Maybe [the writers will] play that out. But I know that because [Ryan's] a complicated guy, because he doesn't know what's going on, he's rejecting that energy at this point. He's pushing away a little bit.

TVGuide.com: Was it intimidating to work with a pro like Sally Field?
Grimes: It's not intimidating working with Sally Field, it's intimidating in the times in between when the camera's actually rolling, when I'm sitting next to Sally Field. I don't know what to say!

TVGuide.com: Rebecca is another character on the show that had a scare over being an illegitimate Walker. Do you know what her dynamic with Ryan will be like, now that she's off the hook for that?
Grimes: It's funny, another interviewer asked me if we're going to have a love connection ... . The only thing I know is that one of the audition scenes they wrote for me was with Rebecca, and it was [our characters] meeting at a coffee shop, where he's asking her about her experience meeting the Walkers.

TVGuide.com: So far it sounds like Ryan is a brooding guy. Are there any light moments for him?
Grimes: Underneath it all, he is a really sweet person, [even after] all he's been through. There is a side that really cares and is honest ... . Something we talked about is the product of environment, maybe he's just in a bad place. He may seem a little messy to the other characters, but I think given what happened to him, [it's normal].

TVGuide.com: Is Ryan sticking around for a while?
Grimes: It depends on how everyone responds to it, and if the audience likes it. I know I have a four-episode guarantee, and after that it's fate.

TVGuide.com: For you personally, what has it been like for you to play this character so far? What has your approach been?
Grimes: I'm just trying to wrap my head around what it would be like, because I grew up with a really great, close-knit family ... What would that be like to lose your mother at such a young age, and find out that your dad is not your dad? Not only that, but I think about how rejected and alienated Ryan must feel from everyone, because he's everyone's mistake. The mom messed up, and he was born, and neither family can see him as a real part of them.

TVGuide.com: There was a lot of public discussion among Brothers & Sisters fans surrounding your casting. Did you come across any of that?
Grimes: My mom was reading all these comments and actually read me one. It causes extra pressure that I didn't need, but she thought it was funny.

TVGuide.com: What was the comment?
Grimes: I think one said, 'He looks like a strung-out Johnny Depp,' and one said 'He must have gotten the part because his parents are rich,' which is ridiculous, because my dad's a pastor and they are not rich. It's all because they wanted other people [in the role]. [Fans are] entitled to their opinions, but I just hope that they enjoy what I'm doing. Getting a show is really exciting, but knowing that there were people who watched it every week who didn't want you on, it can start to mess with your head. So I decided, from now on I'll just do my job and they can blog and do theirs [Laughs].

TVGuide.com: At this juncture of your career, how do you feel about some of the pitfalls of being a young, successful actor in Hollywood?
Grimes: It's been a slow burn for me. I think I'm glad that it didn't happen right away, and that I didn't have money ...  .  It's good, because now I have a handle on what's important and what's not. Something that's not important is trying to find that spotlight. If it comes, it comes, and you have to deal with it because that's what you signed up for, and you've made yourself public domain...  . I don't think you'll see me embarrass myself too much."

From Ausiello : "Justin and Rebecca's relationship will self-destruct by season's end -- right around the time Rebecca and Ryan start cohabitating."

Kittymattletscher_lFrom Ausiello : "Think you're down in the dumps about Eli Stone's cancellation? Look at the havoc it's about to wreak on Robert and Kitty's marriage on Brothers & Sisters!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Eli's premature demise has paved the way for Matt Letscher (a.k.a. Eli's bro, Nathan) to join B&S for a multi-episode arc as a potential romantic interest for Kitty (Calista Flockhart).

Letscher's character, a recent widower, befriends Kitty during a particularly tumultuous time in her marriage. He's scheduled to start airing in April.

"It's going to become a serious complication," reveals executive producer Monica Breen, ominously.

How serious of a complication are we talking? And how did Robert and Kitty's relationship become so strained that it would lead her to consider straying? Stay tuned to B&S this April and you'll find out!"
Just kidding, I'll tell you Wednesday in Ask Ausiello."
Well, I think it's a great idea because to me Kitty and Robert are just boring !!! So they needed someone to shake things up !! Good for them !

Brotherssisters_lFrom Ausiello : "Kevin and Scotty are about to encounter the biggest threat to their marriage since Prop 8: The return of Jason Lewis!

A Brothers & Sisters insider confirms to me exclusively that the Sex and the City vet has inked a deal to reprise his role as Kevin's ex, closeted actor Chad, later this season.

Quick refresher on Kevin/Chad: Introduced in season 1, a then "straight" Chad met Kevin at the gym and the two started a secret affair. When a gossip site leaked incriminating pics of them shopping for lamps at Ikea, Chad decided to come out publicly, at which point he promptly lost interest in Kevin and the two broke up.

According to a B&S insider, the exes reconnect at a bar and one thing leads to another -- although in this case, I'm pretty sure the "thing" it leads to is just some harmless flirting. But I could be wrong.

As of now, Lewis is on board for one episode, which is slated to air in April."
I have to admit I don't really care about Kevin and Scotty ! I find them as boring as Kitty and McCalister !! But I'm excited to have Chad/Jason back ! Not only because he's hooot but also because this means that he'll be shaking things up a little for Kevin and Scotty !!

Balthazar Leaving Brothers Earlier Than Expected?

From Kristin : "The Walker family from Brothers & Sisters may be losing a loved one sooner than we thought.

According to sources who work on the fan-favorite ABC drama, the show's writers and producers have rewritten certain scenes and storylines in order to phase out Balthazar Getty, who plays Tommy Walker, before the current season ends.

"Episode 19 is expected to be his last," one well-placed insider tells us.

Getty's rep says "not true." The show's rep declined comment.

However, as first reported by E! Online's Marc Malkin, insiders say that Balthazar is leaving the show and isn't expected to return as a series regular next season.

And sadly, Balthazar may not be the only one affected...

When asked if Balthazar's exit means we'll see less of his onscreen wife, Sarah Jane Morris, a reliable insider says: "I know producers love her and want to keep her, [but] it may be hard to do with Tommy going away."

(This fan is hoping they find a way.)"

Well, Tommy is annoying and his wife is completely useless so I don't really care !

Balthazargetty_l From Ausiello : "I smell fresh Emmy material for Brothers & Sisters matriarch Sally Field.

According to sources, Balthazar Getty, who plays the Oscar winner's eldest son, was informed last week that producers were not planning on picking up his option as a full-time series regular next season. However, that doesn't mean that Tommy's place setting at the Walker dinner table is being permanently removed. Not yet, anyway. Per a B&S source, Getty is currently in talks with the show to stay on in a reduced capacity, perhaps as a recurring guest star.

While a rep for the show declined to comment, Getty's spokesperson denies that the actor is leaving.

Rumors about Getty's possible exit have been grist for the gossip mill for months. The actor's real-life drama -- the collapse of his marriage and ensuing tabloid-ready romance with Sienna Miller -- has allegedly alienated him from his co-stars, many of who had grown close to his wife, Rosetta, and their four young children. What's more, according to E! Online's Marc Malkin, Getty has been showing up late for work and proving increasingly "difficult" to work with.

But per multiple sources, Getty's sorta-departure is not the result of any one issue but a combination of factors that also includes budgetary and storyline considerations. Tommy has long been considered the most disposable of B&S's siblings. Removing him, at least as a regular presence, frees up the show to introduce some new blood.

In any case, don't expect Tommy to exit by way of a casket. Although an ABC insider says the idea of killing off a Walker has been discussed, the network would likely view such a twist as "too morbid." As a result, Tommy is likely to either relocate with his wife and baby, or just drift into the background and reappear for the occasional disastrous dinner party.

What do you think? Is Tommy an integral part of B&S? Or will you not even notice if he's missing? Also, could Getty be the subject of a certain blind item (tee-hee)?"

Ok, he's definitly the one Ausiello talked about in his blind item !! Well, I personnaly don't care about Tommy that much. It would have been a great tragedy for the family if they had decided to kill him. But it's a better idea to have him on hold for family holidays and big dramas !! I'm not really moved by his leaving !! Are you ?
