private pratice

Hey everyone ! I'm back !! But I've missed a lot in a week plus I'm sick so please bear with me while I catch up on everything !!!
And I'll start with last week's Private Practice ! I LOVED it !!
First because of all the guest stars : the pregnant woman Addison is treating from What about Brian, her husband from Ally McBeal and Brothers and Sisters (a good piece of hotness !), the 12 yo girl who gets pregnant (I don't remember where I know her from but we definitly know her from somewhere) and most of all Taye Diggs's real life wife Idina Menzel who played Pete's patient's mother (by the way I know that kid as well - although I don't remember from where - and he's great !!). And let's not forget our hot hot principal from the brand new Sunnydale High !! I hope they both stick around for at least one more episode !
Second because of the storyline. I LOVED the last scene with Addison and Noah ! HOT !! And stone cold Charlotte who sort of start becoming friends with Violet, and Dell acting like a frat guy (acting his age actually !), and even the 12 yo pregnant girl storyline was interesting !!
So to sum it up it was a more than solid episode of Private Practice ! I loved it and I hope they keep on this track !!

As for Grey's Anatomy, nothing much to tell ! It was good enough but neither particularily funny or interesting, I don't know, I just didn't really feel it !! THEY have to get BACK on track !

Joshhopkins_lFrom Ausiello : "It isn't enough that Private Practice's Addison (Kate Walsh) can't go a week without a guy; now, it seems, she can't go a week without more than one. Though in tonight's episode, she and beau Kevin attempt to resolve their relationship issues, and she takes a closer look at Wyatt, the show has just cast yet another love interest for her!

I've learned exclusively Swingtown's Josh Hopkins has signed on for five episodes as the latest surgeon with whom our lead MD will play doctor.

So what do you think, folks? You psyched about a Hopkins/Walsh pairing? Or is the joke about Addison's bedroom needing a revolving door becoming less funny?"
They had warned us that Addison wanted to exlpore her possibilities and after a short first season, it's sort of like the show is just starting and they can't find her the perfect guy (at least to stay with) right away. BUT I'm getting a little bored of Addison's men ! Kevin and Wyatt were enough for now. They could have waited a bit to introduce a third guy ! For right now I think it's too much and it won't help viewers gt invested in her love life if it keeps changing like that !! Anyway, let's still give the guy a chance !

I love viruses and contamination storylines !!! Plus Amy Brenneman is getting a blast from the past with her former costar from Judging Amy guest staring in the episode ! One thing's for sure : it's much smarter to put the two shows back to back to give Private Practice a better chance !

I love that Dell is a father ! It's sort of out of nowhere and feels like a lame attempt to make him look older on the show but I still love it. As for his baby mama, she seems good enough and getting her life back together so Dell should get ready to agree for a shared custody ! What I want to know (maybe I didn't listen to him carefully when he was explaining his situation to Addison and Naomie) is did he raise her or is it new for him ? It wasn't really clear.

From tvguide.com : "just last week, it was announced that Alexis Denisof and wife Alyson Hannigan (of How I Met Your Mother) were expecting their first child.

It turns out that's only the tip of the propagating iceberg for Denisof.

TVGuide.com has learned that on the Nov. 19 episode of ABC's Private Practice, the Buffy/Angel alum will guest-star as a father-to-be who comes to Oceanside Wellness with a pregnant wife in tow.

He then returns later, with a second expectant Mrs. in need of Addison's attention. Talk about big love.

I'm not one brazen enough to predict story line outcomes, but… no, this cannot possibly end well. "

If Alyson wasn't already on HIMYM, it would have been SOOO much fun to see them both play those parts !! And it would have been even better if they had played those parts on the same episode Amy Acker did !!

From Kristin : "Private Practice is coming back, and the cast shared a little info at the recent premiere party for the season-one DVD. Click in to find out where full-frontal nudity fits in and how the center of the show might be going, going, gone...

Practice Imperfect: According to Kate Walsh (Dr. Addison Montgomery), "There's so much happening this season! There's a lot more surgery. There's lots of sex. We realize in the first episode that the practice has a little financial turmoil happening, which I think is actually topical in the state of our economy. I think a lot of people can identify and relate when you mortgage a place and then 'Uh oh! How am I gonna pay for it?' "

Or, as Paul Adelstein (Cooper) put it, "The practice itself gets threatened. It might go under. The other thing that Shonda is trying to do is really get into some medical ethics issues that doctors and families have to deal with all the time. There are some really good storylines about that stuff." I wonder if this means the new focus on medical mysteries will happen entirely outside of the wellness center, but in Dr. King's (KaDee Strickland) domain of the hospital instead.

Nekkid! But never mind about all that messy medicine. Chris Lowell (Dell)—whom I always knew I loved—gave up the real goods on what to watch for this season: "Taye Diggs and full-frontal nudity. That's all I can tell you. It just gets weird! I mean it's really nice and intimidating—for the guys—to see. Taye's a whole lot of man. And that's it. No! Truthfully though, what you can expect from season two? There's a lot of crisscrossing of relationships that you maybe didn't expect and didn't see last season; a lot of romances flaring up, and it's going to be all over the board. It's a web."

Hmmm...about the relationships, and although he's obviously kidding about Taye, I sure like the way he thinks!

B.A. (Before Addison): According to Amy Brenneman (Violet) the second-season premiere will happily fill in many of the gaps in our understanding of how these people met and came to work together. She said, "I was really happy with the initial episode of this season because I think it answers some questions that we all were asking, that we didn't really have time to get in to last year about what kind of place this is and what they're up against. Everyone gets these beautiful back stories."

I, for one, want to see how Cooper and Violet became friends."
