Buffy may be back ... Oh please no !!!!

News that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being relaunched into a movie has sent the Whedonverse into hysterics. Why? Word on the street is that neither Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy, nor any of the other beloved characters who appeared in the WB-UPN series (Willow, Xander, Spike or Angel), are set to appear in the planned remake. For that matter, the people who own the movie rights are moving forward without original screenwriter and series show runner Joss Whedon, which sounds like a formula for, well...ahem. That's when I put my foot down !!! I LOVE Buffy and I also admit that I'm excited about the reboots of Melrose Place, V and 90210 last year but enough is enough !! Buffy without Joss Whedon is just not Buffy and there is no way I'm watching it, show, movie or otherwise ! If Joss is not behind it, there's really no point !!
