Missing the Tudors ? Try Pillars of the Earth

Hey guys,

So in this still dry period in television (it's summer), if you're like me and you're missing the Tudors, try Pillars of The Earth. Ok, it's not on Showtime but Starz. Ok, the producer is not Michael Hirst, the genius behind The Tudors, Elizabeth, Elizabeth the Golden Age...but it's still Ridley Scott. Ok, the main actors are not as hot as Jonathan Rhys Meyers or Henry Cavill but they're good enough. It will not replace the Tudors but it's still a pretty good show.

So, what is it about ? The building of a Cathedral in 12th century England. Love, intrigues, political, religious and class struggles, everything's there. The hero is the builder of the cathedral but you also follow workers, monks, middle class, upper class, royalty...It's a very interesting show.
